Lead Tech again....
....not for Comcast or CTIS though! I accepted a position with a company called "The Electrician". I am their lead service technician. I was given a nice salary, company vehicle, profit sharing, commissions, paid vacation, paid holidays, and the promise of moving into an office manager/service manager type position as the company expands. The only bad thing about taking this job was that I had to contact Dynamic Electric and tell them their offer had been beaten and that i would not be accepting a position with them. That was hard because I know how bad Dynamic needs someone and they really wanted me. It feels good to be wanted!
I start Monday morn at my new job. The boss, Keith, said i was the first person he ever hired on the spot. He said he just felt it was right. he says he is a Christian and he is happy with the idea that I am pastoring a church. he was a bit afraid that I might begin to pastor fulltime and thus quit him. I told him that was not gonna happen. I am very excited about this. My work day will begin at 7am and for all intents and purposes end around 4pm. If I'm in the middle of a call I'll need to complete it of course.
