ouch

Well it turns out that my back and rib pain is contributed to pneumonia and a pleurisy in my lung. The pain has drastically subsided at this time. Let's hope it stays that away. The hospital, MTMC, gave me a steroid shot and something else. One was for pain and one was to relax my muscles. Last night I was a bit high I guess you could say. I don't however think that the pain killer has lasted this long, 16-17 hours. I know that literally hundreds of people are praying for moi. I am so grateful for that and I believe that I am feeling the effects of those prayers today. I was given a prescription for a strong pain killer which I don't want to fill or take. The prayers are working fine I believe.

A CT Scan revealed that I have no blockages, no clots. That's amazing considering the diet of fast and fried foods that I have been on for some 15 years now. Thank the Lord! I guess it's time to start eating right while I am ahead. MTMC was a top notch experience. I had heard bad things about them in the past and was somewhat leary about going there but it being less than 10 minutes away and the next hospital (a for profit) was some 25 minutes away I felt I needed to get some care. I thought I was going to seize up from the pains and spasms. I was not able to breath well at all which caused panic. They drew blood and gave me an iv all in less than 5 seconds. That's not an exaggeration. No pain!

I got a great night's sleep last night for the first time in awhile. I did cough a few times which was strange. I usually don't and it was wierd having been told I have pneumonia and have for quite sometime. Wendy has helped me through this. Without her I would have wasted away. She deserves some praise and a vacation. I love her so much. She did keep making me laugh, on purpose, and not because a merry heart doeth good like a medicine but to make me hurt worse. She thought it was funny. Let me provide a picture of her that made me laugh with pain.
